Late 2011 Crochet works
((If you notice, there are some funny double images in this second photo. I took two different shots Martha took, and put them quickly together in Photoshop. Of course, there are some issues with perspective, but I hope you get the idea

She drove a Plymouth Satellite

“It must have been the speed of liiiiiiight!”
Suuuuuuuuuuuper old Girls Drawing Girls theme.. I think it was Space Girls? And the week before that it was Drawings Inspired by Music, or something like that… Anyway. This was inspired by “Planet Claire” by B52′s.
MY. FAVORITE. BAND. EVER.
And yes, I’m quite aware that folks from Planet Claire are supposed to have no heads. XD

Health weirdness + sketchbook pics!
August 26th, 2011
Aggh, I had a lot of blood drawn yesterday…… w-wait, how many vials?
Been meditating a lot, and I’ve been seeing visions.. there is a battle in my body, and I’m going to win, dangit!
***I’m still available for commissions!***
Feel lame that my story is on a hold right now. And double lame that I won’t be able to attend APE. It’s been waay too long since a story update, though, and I’m sure ya’ll want to know what Fannie’s show will be all about!
Since I’ve been so out of the loop of drawing more Heroes&Bandits comic pages, I’ve had to re-approach my main trio:

That’s pretty much how they look inside my sketchbook, too!
Here are some more goodies…

Trying to make the story even more Gothic Country (I have a lot of classic rock influences though). . . Been listening to a lot of Rob Zombie, if you can’t tell
Hope everyone else is having a lovely summer!
<3,
Rocky

Have Yarn Will Travel – show pictures
August 8th, 2011
YES! I was in a show at MOCA on August 7, 2011!
I had my yarn bombed car on display… oh shucks, just see the images below!
Fellow yarn-bombers in order from North to South:
Arzu Kosar – Red yarnbombed car
Laura DeLeon – Kiddy car
Darlyn Susan Lee – yarnbombed car
Amy Caterina Hill – Grass car
Kacy Treadway – Dolphin car
Jaque Lene – yarnbombed car
Rocky Ormsby – Granny Square Heaven car
Darlene DiBona – Spiderweb car
Amy Inouye + Beth Elliot – Chicken Boy-on-a-cloud car

Also…
This yarnbomb was NOT part of the show… I just so happen to have extra yarn, squares, materials, and BAM!
I would consider this a collaboration with the talented :iconWolfren89: :devWolfren89: (She made the awesome little flowers. They are sooo well made, all tight, snug, and soft!!)
That pipe really did need love, too! It was all corroded and green D:
Stay tuned for more yarn bombings in the future!!
